Do i Need to buy the preformed hose for the PVC valve to oil separator hose or can I buy a across the counter hose, and it will work and look fine?

If you're taalking about the hose from the Smiths PCV Valve (the black hose leading from the PCV Valve and between the front carb and Gulp Valve, you don't need a preformed hose but it should be a hose that is approved for oil and gas vapors. If my memory is correct, the i.d. of the hose is 1/2" (not positive of this). I took my PCV valve with me to NAPA and they had the "vapor hose" in stock so I bought a couple feet since I hadn't measured the length I needed. Wasn't very expensive.

I used straight oil resistant hose on my GT. Have used heater hose in the past and after a while it got mushy. The curve is gentle enough straight hose bends fine.
