Midget rear shock links- dimensions?

Greetings All,

I am interested in making a set of rear shock links for my 74 Midget. Like the ones in the attached image I borrowed from britishracecar.com.

Can anyone offer the correct dimensions for the rod?

Why not set the car at its ride height, then find the center of shock travel and take your measurement?

That is how I did mine. It was like a 30 minute job. If memory serves I used 5/8x.120 ALU tube.
