Hi everyone. Well, I guess it was my turn in life to have someone backup and climb onto my hood. flattened hood and bent up bumper. looking at parts, I found Moss has a few for sale. One is a "after market "and one is"British Motor Heritage". These items have a large diffrence in price. I also found one in Victoria British for even less than Moss. all of these are steel. Can someone advise me on what the diffrences are. My car is in good shape ,however, it will never be a show piece like alot of other beautful cars on this site. I'm more concerned about fit and quality. Moss also has a special on parts so if I order $1,500.00 worth of items I will get free shipping which will save me money. Any info or experiance with these hoods will help alot. Thanks in advance, Ken

Any new bonnet will likely require some tweaking to get a good fit.
Money well spent would be on the Heritage bonnet.

Thanks for quick responce gentlemen. I am going to have a body shop do the all the work. How much fitting will be needed for this? I have no clue what goes into this work. If I found a used on as Bruce mentioned, would it be smarter to ssand and prep myself before the body shop gets it? I'm not sure if the shop will warrenty any work I did. Ken

Got it Anthony. I have never had to do this before. If a car needed body work, I just sent to the shop and let the Insurance company deal with it. The person who hit me will be paying me direct for the cost so I'm trying to be as fair as possable with cost of parts but won't compromise the finial product. Thanks

Here is a Heritage bonnet for about $740 or best offer, including shipping. Moss wants $900 PLUS shipping... Just a suggestion!
