Saw this on the Amazon Prime series Grand Tour Season 1, episode 9 Land Rover Discovery 3.9 with the body of a 1980 MGB stuck on top. Who says that Jeremy Clarkson doesn't know how to do a MGB V8 conversion?

Yep, that right there's a quality job. You would think he could have put at least one bolt in between the body and chassis though. Down right comical the way the body rotated around the hood (engine). Yet for all that he was actually able to drive it. Amazing.

I think an AWD MGB could be done. I don't think it would be easy. I also don't think it makes a lot of sense. Unless you are going for the mini-monster-truck look.

When Jeremy builds a car it's going to be a joke. That's the whole premise of the show. The sad part is that it appears they destroyed a fairly nice late model MGB.
