Any idea what the value of a fiberglass hardtop in "rough but restorable" condition would be? I have what is basically the shell and a back window that came with it. Not sure if it is even worth the bother of selling it - no seals, hardware, just what you see in the attached photos.

If it has an ID plate on it MGA XXXX and if its made by Universal Laminations....and it looks like it is....in this rough condition I think its worth under $500 restored $3500. I attached a photo of mine completely restored by a gentleman up in Massachusetts. They were black vinyl covered from the factory but I decided to paint mine Old English White. It fits like a glove. Good Luck.

Thanks David for the info - I will turn it over and see if there is any evidence of a tag or marking of any kind. Great picture - it is very sharp looking restored! Thanks for posting : )

Best guess from the shape (especially the rear window) is Plasticon. They were a fairly large volume manufacturer of aftermarket hardtops of lots of different cars. See picture.
