Left and right running lights are on separate fuses. Look to see if one of those is blown.

On some MGBs I've seen, the LF and the RR are on one fuse, and the RF and LR are on the other. On others, the left side is on one fuse and the right side is on another. This is original factory wiring. No, I have no explanation for the differences.

One of my cars has right front and left rear on same circuit - the spade connectors are reversed at the fuse box for fuses 1 and 2, and I've never bothered to fix it. Probably a dirty connection right there at the fuse box since that's the only common point for 1 front and 1 rear running light. Here's the wiring diagrams - just go to your model year. Red circuit from fuses 1 and 2 feed all these running lights.

What Dan and Tom said, plus who knows what a PO did. It sounds like one of the 2 upper fuses in the panel is not doing its job. One controls half the running lights and the other, the other half.

Dominick, take a day off, turn off your phone, and request that your wife not bother you.
Check, clean, sand, wire brush, coat with dielectric grease, and tighten EVERY ground connection in your car.
Disconnect associated male bullet connectors. Dremmel wire wheel clean till shiny.
Clean female bullet connectors with round file and/or sandpaper.
Reconnect firmly and with a snap after applying dielectric grease.
Of course after you check fuses and bulbs.......
Better than brand new and you will tip your hat in honor of Mr. Lucas!

I just went through my lighting circuits and cleaned all the connections and I replaced the female connectors because I kept finding them cracked. A great many problems went away when finished. Easy fix and connectors are cheap! Good luck!
