Leftover parts. Where do they go?

Hi, I just put back together my 72/74 midget. I have the attached 2 parts left. I suspect they go somewhere in the front near the bumper but cant see really where they go.

Please help.

Not sure about the top part but the bottom part (in primer) appears to be a strengthener for the rear part of the body. In the Bugeye it is in the "trunk" and attached to the floor in line with the rear bumper brackets.

Yep, bottom is a bracket for the rear bumpers. All four brackets are unique, so put it wherever it fits best and that's where it should be. Top one I really couldn't say.

Thank you all for your help. I was able to fit the pieces in the trunk. Still trying to figure out where the other one goes.

I think the other one goes near the grill or next to the radiator. Would slightly stick up above the core supoort

1mm hole in primary throttle blade
