In other threads some member's posts highlighted their take on accessorizing their A; either it was the way they bought their car, or they decided to decorate as they saw fit. Wyatt posted a photo of his radio blanking plate fitted with a Smiths clock and a lighter I(quite neat); three5bangers showed us his ski rack, mounted up side down by the PO. I remember seeing an A painted a very mellow yellow with black/orange leopard patterned interior; and another A was running around with a nice rusty patina, except of course on all of the aluminum parts which were brightly polished. While not as daring as having a leopard skin interior, I do have a Lucas 8 track tape player mounted just in front of the shifter; player works and I have about 60 cartridges to choose from.
What other accessories or interesting color schemes are out there; anyone willing to share photos?

I'm in the process of making a glove compartment out of the armrest. I have used the Moss kit's armrest padded top and cut down the foam to about an inch to make the lid. I went to Lowes and purchased some finished wood to make the box. When I get back from vacation, I will complete the box, round all of the edges and add ½" of padding all around and then cover with black vinyl. The interior will be covered with felt. The lid will open toward the driver's side (LHD) but, other than the crease under the lid, will look outwardly like an original armrest. I'll post picks when it's done.

Are you ready for the real customization .......here us go!!!
I have custom made headrest for driver and passager sides fabricated that can be taken on and off and not block the trunk and did not cause any mods to car. I loved a silver MGA I saw on google that had custom ones installed permanently (see silver pic below) but I just did not want to commit to a permanent mod.
I tracked the guy down and learned they were trans pans for old fords.
I had MG Limited (My car builders) modify them to fit to retaining softtop clips via a crossbar and then front snap behind seats / under area before trunk. The pads are done in same Leather as interior with MG logo. They are tight when on...no movement.
We are putting 3M clear film to protect paint.
To be clear...the silver one is where I got the idea. We cut the side flanges off and we are placing soft rubber along bottom edges.
