Does anybody have a picture or instructions on how the headrest trim rings assemble to seats?
Thanks,
Bob H

Do you mean where the stem goes into the seat back?

They just have tabs on the back which bend to clamp onto the material

Put these words into Google:

"MGB headrest removal"

. . . and you will come up with many answers to your problem.

Bring up this Moss webpage:

http://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=29085

and work your way down through the many parts . . .

Yes,
But I have a flat piece same shape that came with them.
Just wondering if this all sits on top of hole then bend in clips, and where does the other piece go.
My car has never had them since I got it.
Thanks

I have not had mine off, but going by your description the piece without tabs fits under and the tab piece over then bend the tabs over the under piece. Would that work?

A photo would be a benefit.

Cheers,

Jeff

Yup, that'll work.

Thanks Bruce.

I believe these can only be installed (properly) with the seat cover removed from the frame.

I reused mine when I recovered my seat. However it is difficult to unbend, and rebend the tabs without snapping them.

As a result, my trim.rings are only held on with perhaps half the tabs... but you'd never know!
