Over medialized. I have a good friend that lives in Keene. Nothing happened at the festival according to him. It was all at a location near the college. He and his family say they were at the festival during it and new nothing about it till they got home and saw it on the news.

I'll betcha beer was involved...

....and maybe The Smashing Pumpkins failed to show as scheduled to play "Tonight, Tonight", leading to the smashing of pumpkins and other acts of social disobedience by the students..



The University of Illinois used to have a HUGE Halloween Party that drew thousands of kids from colleges throughout the Midwest. City fathers finally stepped up to the plate and got things under control.

Now we have "Unofficial St.Patricks Day" (The weekend before St.Pats Day when the students are still in town prior to Spring Break) that is/was leading to the same type of problems.
