It is the nylon clip that holds the stainless trim on the fish mouth grille.

I wish I knew as much today as I did when I was 18........

Are all of the parts to repair/rebuild a fish mouth grill now available ? I have one but some of the chrome trim work is dented. Would love to get it perfect.

Parts for the fish mouth grille are hard to find and getting harder to find. We continually hear rumours that they will be reproduced - but so far, nada.
