Could anybody tell me where the anti run valve is supposed to meet with the intake manifold and what does that fitting look like I can't seem to find it anywhere.

MGA and very early MGB did not have ARO valve, so there is no port to connect it to to the intake manifold.

MGB 1964-1969 have a port on top center of the intake manifold to accept the ARO valve connection.

MGB 1970 and later connect the tappet cover vent to the carburetors for low-level vacuum with no PCV valve.

If you are adding a PCV valve to MGA or early MGB (with original carburetors), you need to drill and tap a port into the intake manifold.

MGAs don't normally have anti run on valves unless you consider holding one foot on the brake and releasing the clutch in gear as an anti run on device.

Sorry, confusing the more common question about PCV valve.

Lance is right, no ARO valve on an MGA. You could add one if you were so determined. There are various devious ways to do it. The common method is to draw vacuum on the carburetor float chamber(s) when the engine is switched off, and kill the signal once oil pressure has dropped.

The much simpler method is just put it in 3rd gear and let the clutch up as the engine is coming to a stop.

Is it better to use 3rd gear instead of 1st? I've been using this method on my MGB...
