This film is due to release at the end of April. Don't know what it's about yet, but it can't be all bad of there's an MGA in it, right? :-)

Yeah, I see that. It also looks like a standard 1600, but has the dashboard of a Mark II or Deluxe.

I thought I'd seen this before.....
http://www.mgexp.com/phorum/read.php?2,2857423,2857423#msg-2857423

Releases Apr 24 in US. Filmed in Coquitlam, BC according to IMdb. As someone else said "total chick flick", but might be entertaining just to see the MG.

I was watching the TV show Emergency! on MeTV and saw an Iris blue roadster parked on the street. Funny, in a later episode the artist that welded himself into his sculpture ala the three stooges "a plumbing we shall go" had an iris blue left front fender on the wall in his studio.

Since my wife does nearly all of the movie-picking in our household and she is already well aware that there is an MGA in the movie, I am nearly certain to see this movie unless Rotten Tomatoes intervenes. I will let you know if it's safe to watch for those with Chick Flick Intolerance.

I am still interested to hear if anyone IDs the owner of the car in the film.
