Hi EricRegarding your post "MGA Windshield bottom seal " and the proper direction to install it. Should the seal, once installed be facing inward, in the opposite direction which it will lay once the windshield is attached to the car. If this is the case I need to remove mine as the rubber seal is not laying down flat against the car. It would be nice if some directions were provided when buying such a critical part.

I assume you are referring to this thread: http://www.mgexp.com/phorum/read.php?2,3318968 The seal's base (that slides into the bottom of the windscreen frame) is not exactly at 90 degrees to the part that lays against the body. The right way to install the seal into the frame has the long flap angled backwards. Then, when the windscreen is installed onto the car, the flap will be more firmly pressed against the body.

Yes that's correctUnfortunately, I believe I installed mine in the other direction with the longer flaps facing forward. I contacted Moss (who provided the part) and they could not advise on the correct installation procedure.Do you think this seal will be reusable??
