That one is quite a car! But I still don't want it in my collection. Why did they leave one front door off on the older taxis?

To put all the luggage in. No "trunk" only a luggage rack or the roof.
Four/five passengers could have a LOT of stuff.

Given the abundance of Metropolitan convertibles, I'm not sure I see the need to convert a couple... Anyway, this '58 Nash Met is currently on Bring A Trailer, where current bidding as it at $2,200.

I'm back, after a week on Cape Cod to celebrate my old man's 80th birthday. Came home to a temperature of 29 degrees inside my farm house, and frozen pipes. Happy 2018!

Anyway...here's a 1948 Devon with a lot of work done already, and in running condition. I'm guessing the interior needs work, given that there are no photos. $12,500, and just 90 minutes from me in Toronto, Ontario.

A cool little car but $12k is crazy and kind of a shame. It appears you would still have to finish the restoration and put a bucket of money into it.

I agree. I sold my Devon, in similar NO rust, driving condition for 3K$, with NEW leather interior (wrong seats too) and a gold plated grill and flying A. 12K is all in and more!

As long as we're talking about Devons (clearly an excellent cold weather topic)... this appears to be a project that the owner has given up on. 1949 Devon street rod project. I have seen these style wheels on other Devon rods...must be a 'thing'? $2,500 in Quebec.

How about these? Billed as 1947 / 48 A40 Devons? The one doesn't seem to bad at all, and the price is certainly more reasonable. In Augusta, GA.

Are you bored with your classic car? Do you have $50,000 USD to replace it? I have the car for you! It's this 1951 Austin A90 Atlantic! That's right - just 50k will put this car in your driveway!

Seriously...this is a very rare car. This is only the 6th I've seen for sale in 4 1/2 years, and only the second in running condition. But the last one in running condition was nicer, and less than half the price. Perhaps if this was fully restored. But it's not. Also, if you want to sell a car, two things. First, give a decent description. Second, don't photography the car next to your welding tools. Makes me wonder what you're not telling me.

All that said, this is a cool car. If you're near Dayton, Ohio, stop in and kick the tires!

Wow! A 1927 Austin 7 Chummy! Love these - who wouldn't? Hey, it's 90 years old and 'everything works', according to the seller. The problem is, the asking price of $9,450 is pretty rich for the US/Canada market. If this was in the UK, it would be considered a bargain. Maybe someone over there will bring it back to it's place of birth. Outside Seattle, WA.
