I see that Abingdon Spares sells a solenoid conversion plate to convert a TC to the TD style remote starter switch. Anybody done this?
The car I am working on has a hard to pull linkage on the starter switch. I checked and it is not the cable.

Hey Peter -

Is the cable bracket and clamp in place? This makes a big difference in my experience.
Also, the lever in the starter switch can be moved up or down (location notches) which can
Change the leverage on the pull.

The bracket and cable are in place. Can the lever be moved w/o removing the switch? It has been awhile since I looked at this.
Thanks for info.

Yes. The barrel of the switch can also rotate to get at things easier.
