radiator cap mascot

I have a mg tf 1500 is there anyway to attach a radiator cap mascot with out destroying the chrome decorative radiator cap .can I change it back if I decide to take it off? thanks Michael

I wouldn't drill a hole in that cap! Only way to attach one that I know of. You can buy another cap for about 80 bucks! If your grill is on the car, do you know how much trouble and work that's involved to get to that caps securing studs? You have to open up most of the front of the car! Not worth it tome. PJ

Yep. A Lot easier on a TD. Only need another Rad Cap
and drilling a hole in it is the only real way to make it secure.
With the TF It would be a lot more involved I guess.

Yes, the TF cap is bolted in place and to get to them the grill has to be removed and the false nose has to come off the shell, bummer. PJ
