*********************************************************

Hi All,

Well, the time has come - leaving the hobby and must sell my '76 B Roadster.

I've already sold my GT and now the Roadster is up for sale.

Those that know me here for the past 8 years are well aware of the way I've kept my cars over the last decade.

I'll post some general information below along with some pics -- if interested, reach out via PM and we can connect up.

This is a 76 Roadster and has been a daily driver - EXTREMELY well sorted and reliable. I'd hop in and take it across country in a minute. I've taken it on Gary's Run once and was planning to take it again this year but things have changed and I need to sell it.

- Been garaged since 2008 when I got it (was garaged before that too).
- I'm only 3rd owner
- Have Heritage Certificate
- Approx 130K+ on the clock
- Original engine
- De Smogged
- New rings, bearings, honed (approx 3-4 yrs ago)
- Re-bushed front end, new A-Arms, installed sway bar (approx 3-4 yrs ago)
- Solid oil pressure
- Original paint (Glacier White)
- Lowered 1.5 inches to Chrome Bumper height (Moss Kit)
- OD, Black Label (car also comes with original, non-OD gearbox)
- HS4 conversion (carbs rebuilt by Jimmy Hilton)
- New fuel pump (David DuBois)
- Shocks rebuilt (Peter @ World Wide)
- Dizzy rebuilt with Petronix (David Schlemmer)
- Custom heater valve (Dan Wood)
- AC Delco Alternator (110 amp)
- ceramic coated exhaust manifold
- new exhaust pipe and muffler
- New carpet (black) and insulation
- Fiero seats with Mr. Mike's covers, embroidered with MG logo
- AM/FM/CD Stereo, with speakers in head rests
- GPS Speedo
- Combo water/oil pressure gauge
- Volt Meter (in place of old C-N-H temp gauge)
- Rear Lights LED kit installed
- Blower replaced with Fiero Hi-Flow unit
- Engine Side Cover, Aluminum-single piece (Basil)
- Radiator flushed, pressure tested and drain petcock installed
- Chrome Wires (14"winking smiley
- Relay Kit (Bits-4-Brits)
- Battery cut-off switch
- Both full and half tonneau covers (originals, no tears, no rips)
- Original tonneau cover "bars"
- Hard Top
- Soft Top and Frame (zippered rear window)
- I have a spare engine came from a running car (included with engine stand -unless that sells first). *SOLD*
- Original non-OD gearbox (included)
- Have a spare rear axle with good splines (included)
- Spare fuel pump (by David)
- Complete set of Speedy-Sleeves for front and rear, new in box
- Spare trunk lid in perfect condition, sand blasted and primered (included)
- I'll even toss in my low-profile floor jack and a pair of jack stands

Clear Oregon Title in-hand. I need to get no less than $5K.

I'm sadden & sorry to read that you are selling / sold your MGs.

I saw in your multi - photos that you have a MGB roadster black removable hardtop in excellent condition. Would you be open to consider selling your removable hard top separately from your white MGB Roadster.

Thank-you, Joe

Hi Joe,

I'd prefer to let the hardtop go with the car. That said, if the buyer already has one and doesn't want mine, then of course I'll sell it stand-alone. You'll be first on that list.

Thanks Bob - ditto!

and my GT is already with her new owner - a "regular" on here but I'm going to let HIM reveal. Suffice to say, I negotiated visitation rights and could not possibly think of anyone in this world to have her except for him.

Dang, sorry to hear this. Was hoping we'd cross paths one day as we're neighbors it seems. Looks to be a real well-sorted '76 and some lucky person will be happy to drive it away for sure. Good luck!

Thanks John.

Yeah, it'll still be nice to actually meet one of these days instead of the passing waves we've had!

77 MGB - Four tone paint -Pertronix - hood props - cheap tires - new springs all around - mixture of poly and rubber bushings- fuzzy seatcovers - stereo out of old F150 pickup -runs flawlessly and drives nice.

78 MGB - Done right by a good PO, and I only bought it. Tell Jim how nice it is. But I did put in a Datsun 5 speed.

53 TD Mark II - a work in progress.

79/65 MGB - Carmine- V-6 - T-5
This car is now very nearly completely done. Sure to find something else, but not now.........
