Original owner. Purchased in 1965 for my new MGB. Lost my red MGB when drafted in the Army 1966. Kept wheels in storage all these years. Great shape.

I paid $300 for the wheels in 1965; the consumer price index is 683.1%, so in 2018 dollars the cost would be $2349.00
There's your price Anthony. Do I have any offers? I will delete the post at the end of the day this Saturday. Pm if interested.

What size are they? Do you have a better picture?

Dan: Forum rules require a price...there are auction sites if that's the route you're going.

Okay, I'm new to this. I guess I need to go to eBay. I want market price, but I've no idea what that is. So I'll let the auction decide.

Dan,

Just ignore Anthony . . . . He is NOT the Forum police. . . . Skye Nott is the site's webmaster, and sole authority.

Please leave your ad up... these are interesting parts, rather unique and hard to value.

Suggest you also post an value inquiry in the MG Motorsports forum on this site. That's where many of the known MG "real magnesium" wheels live.

I'll send you an offer in a PM.

Thanks.

Here is some good information concerning magnesium castings, including wheels. Some professional information versus the "shirt tail" metallurgists that will chime in on this thread.

When Anthony's not running his used parts BUSINESS on this forum (and ignoring its rules), he likes to meddle in other people's posts.
