I have a 1963 Mk II Sprite. My wiper arms have no tension left to keep them on the glass and usable.
I have the 8.5" Chrome ones with the 15 degree angle at end. They have the spring steel piece used for the tension.
If I recall the later ones used a actual spring and were much better. I think the later ones will work? Any thoughts? Is there anything new and improved or should I try to find a later set of arms?

Kind of late reading this, but don't the 1963 arms have a screw in the center to attach them? Even if yours doesn't have the screw I think the splines might have changed on later cars about the time we went to three blades in America. Any way you can re "arch" the spring steel piece on your current ones? Then, change to a new blade with a little more rubber material touching the surface of the windshield.
