Yep. My brother in law and his cousin took it for a drive one night, she was driving. She lost control, overcorrected and flipped it on it's side. They pushed it back on it's wheels and drove it home. Only thing they hurt was their pride.

In 69 I bought a nice used 64 Mini Cooper S for $795.

Given the power and performance was better than the Sprite, I would put your Sprite at $600 in 1969 if in good condition. Remember that '67 and newer Spridgets had 1275's and folding tops... more value, so better resale value, driving down the prices of early cars in that period.
