See how many mistakes you can see from the photos included in this eBay listing. The VIN and body beg to differ! Wonder what the title says?

Round rear openings, thin bumper, wrong headrests. Not 69, probably 72

Wrong steering wheel (why "update" with a 1500 stock unit if you are going to customize the car with shaved handles, etc?) early 1965 parking lights, on and on.

His name escapes me, but the builder used to be on the spridgets autox.team.net mailing list. David Booker? Maybe.

It is a well built car and yes it is actually a B210 five speed not a 210.

That looks like David Riker's car. Everything is the way I remember it, but I didn't remember that he'd sold it. It used to be here on the West Coast.

Thank you. Yes David Riker sounds correct.

I'm not knocking the car itself, really, just that it is advertised incorrectly and things don't line up with the production number. It presents itself very well. I do recall seeing this five or six years ago when Riker had it as his main ride.

What? You've never seen a RWA '69? spinning smiley sticking its tongue out
In the classic Mini circles, VIN swaps are as common as pancakes at IHOP. Not sure why that happens in the Spridget world, though.

Heard back from the dealer. They say it is titled as a 1969.

David probably parted out a '69 with a good title and swapped the VIN over to the '72 that was missing a title.
