Hello my name is Mark from Arkansas.

I have been a Vette, Camaro, Ducati, and Jeep guy for many years and a couple of weeks ago I jumped into this English MG Midget world.

I spent time in England while in the Air Force and while working for BAE, but this is my first experience with an English car which is different From my previous vehicle experiences.

My wife always wanted a little MG so the car was actually a present for my wife. We found the car on craigslist in Springfield Missouri. The Agreement with my wife was that if we buy the car she would need to wrench on the car and so far she is holding her end of the bargain.

She has already removed the seats from the car and stripped them. New covers and foam are due to arrive tomorrow. So soon she will be driving her little midget down the beautiful rural Arkansas roads.

I have already reached out for help on a couple of subjects and I received quick support from several people. I believe this forum is going to be very important to us as we prepare the car for my wife’s adventures.

Thanks in advance for everyone’s assistance!!!

Welcome to our madness! You have come to the right place. This is THE forum to be part of.

Nice car! I'm thinking your wife will love it. Driving it, and then wrenching on it is all part of the magic.

It looks like it is a 75 or a 76. It is helpful if you add the car to your profile so we know what year vehicle we are talking about.
