I doubt the mobile welder I have in mind, has repaired an MG Midget frame rail before.

Is there anything really complicated, or advise I can give him to correctly repair it?

Passenger side sway bar mount has ripped away from the rail. Should I have both sides worked on/reinforced while he's here?

Common problem if you fit anything more than the stock swaybar. Both sides need to be re-enforced.

Hopefully this holds up. Took him 2.5 hours = $180. He added side support brackets.

Nice jackstands! But, necessity is indeed the mother of invention. Looks like $180 well spent.

Work Looks Good. Even Harbor Freight has "Car Ramps" for like $30.00 ??????? A lot cheaper than Medical bills or WQRSE

I'd trust those two rims over ramps. I've seen ramps collapse. Dad made some 45 years ago out of 5" angle that were MONSTERS; musta weighed 75# each. He finally cut them up to use for other things as there were so damn heavy. Held up the '69 F100 just fine though.

Maye a 7.5 earthquake would have shifted this Midget. Engine was already removed, welder was 300lbs +, needed all the room we could muster.
