Your heat shield arrived today and it is an absolute masterpiece.
The care and craftsmanship that went into this piece is impressive.
The heat resistant material on the bottom is an amazing touch.

It took quite some time for him to respond and eventually get one to me.
Funny thing is, my original heat shield is still in great shape!!
I bought one of these replacements because it was so well made and looked indestructible.
Murphy’s law, of course, dictates that my original will last indefinitely because I have a replacement.

Hi folks, sorry I never got back to some of you about these heat shields. It was an awesome year outside of the MG world and I had to take a break from the forums and tinkering. I got engaged in the spring, helped coach our XC team to win states and travel to nationals, and now that we’re married I can finally get back to working on my Midget and helping people with theirs. Unfortunately I don’t have much time to get to our family shop to run off the blanks, but I was finally able to make that happen today. I also need to order the hardware I provide to make installation easier and more of the heat barrier material I adhere to the bottoms.

I just sent out PM’s to everyone who’s messaged me since April to see if they’re still interested. If anyone would like them, PM me and I can tell you more.
