This is the extra thick washer that goes between the brake and clutch pedal on the pivot bolt. I am missing mine. I posted a request in the For Sale section in case someone had one laying around but maybe someone can measure theirs and I can kludge one together.

I ended up stacking some washers to approximate the appropriate thickness. After two years, they seem to be still holding up fine.

I did the washer stack also.. You might find something at a hardware store in the little spacer box.

The OEM pedal spacer measures:
1.00" outside diameter
.253 thickness of washer
.382" inside diameter
If you want, I can provide a picture of the entire assembly that takes a special Rubery Owens shoulder bolt.

Here is a picture of the assembly. Three things to keep in mind when you are restoring/building the pedal assembly:
* Restore the running clearance between the M/C push-rod hole on the respective pedal and clevis pin. Note the clevis pin is .312 diameter
* Fit the bushing to the pedals so that the running clearance between the assembly spacer OD and ID of the bushing does not exceed .003" per side with a goal of .0015" per side.
* Make sure that the stack up of the assembly is such that the three spacers are clamped from rotation once the thru bolt is tightened so that each pedal if free to pivot between the ID of the bronze bushing and the OD of the clamped spacer.
With that said, it is a shame that so many other nicely restored MGA's lack the above detail during the restoration with the resultant are floppy pedals. My best recommendation if you do not have to tools or skill is to visit your local tool and die shop-not a shop that works on engines. A lot of these guys are car guys and often they will do this work for little or nothing since it is a break from their daily duties.
