Just wanted to know is the Vin number reverse stamped or engraved on 70 MG MGB Door opening?

I wonder if the factory had a machine that automatically incremented the numbers on the punch? Surely they did - but some of the punching I've seen looks almost hand done.

I would have to agree with you on that one.

Most especially on the engine number tags; some are do overs in the 18GJ range.
