Is there actually a drill bit the size of the bulb socket that goes into the fender well?
I cant ever remember seeing one that isn't actually made for wood boring.
Im thinking of drilling a .25" hole and then jig saw to the right size.
I know it will be a hack job at my end.
Or
drill a series of .032 holes next to each other and then file out the bridge metal?
Any advise will be appreciated...
Bill

Bill,
My advice would be to throw them in the trash... In my eyes they are nothing but clutter on a beautiful body. I got rid of mine years ago...
And please don't worry about the legality of it. LOL Do you really think the law carries a book of MG requirements??? The only time I ever get pulled over is when the officer wants a closer look at the car!!

The big box stores, home depot, lowes, ace hardware carry metal hole saws in different sizes. Harbor freight carries a complete set 3/4"-2 1/2" for 35 bucks
edit. I like Paul's idea better.

Bill,
I used a the above Ben suggestion on one of my front wings.
Suggestion, if you keep the Sabrinas, you would be best to keep the side markers.
FWIW I have no problem with either of these particular 'protuberances' these are part of what make the MGB a MGB.

I cannot say I agree with you Bruce... These protuberances are part of what U.S. safety standards did to clutter an MGB. I can guarantee you they would have never been there otherwise!

You don't need to agree with me, simply my opinion. I was only eluding to a Sabrina car is just that, and I have no problem with the side marker lights or the Sabrinas, being model year correct.
I fully agree with you that the US safety standards influenced/destroyed many a clean design car, and might have even saved some lives along the way?
Heck some cars stopped being imported to NA due to these US safety standards, annoying some Canadians I might add.
