Lowered Suspension

Tinkered a bit with my Height Sensors and found that the Suspension can be adjusted by moving the brackets up or down. Note: I purchased the Mongoose cable and the SDD/IDS software but the software can not communicate with the vehicle.

VDP Info

Fuel economy

I never paid attention to the "MPG" readings till last month, I used the VDP for trips to the next town twice a day for a week. At 75mph it indicated 25mpg of fuel economy. I tried at 80mph, and it showed the same. I think it is odd that at 70mph, it indicates 24mpg. The route is between Saint Robert, Mo and Lebanon, MO. Interstate 44. It is predominantly hilly with a few level areas.

Updated Engine Intake

Intake update

Removed and cleaned the intake components. Was planning on installing a "Cold-Air" system, but cannot find a true "Cold-Air" system on the market for a VDP. The "Factory Install" is currently the better system. I painted it with "Eastwood" #1283Z Reflective Aluminum, to assist in reflecting heat from the engine compartment. I might also do the same to my Wife's X-Type.
