All Finished And Ready To Roll

Posted on: Thursday March 10, 2016

Took "Britt" back to body shop, as per shop manager. He wanted to glaze and buff her out, after I got her back together. She's looking beautiful. Very happy with quality of work and price. They filled in luggage rack and antenna holes. Changed color and cost me $2700. She's ready to log some fun back road miles.

Start point she had trunk rack and antenna hole

Well finally finished "Britt" lots of sore muscles, some blood and a few headaches. She looks like new and has that new car smell too. Yep she's a real looker now. Hopefully we'll have many great rides together... ;-)

Blood, Sweat And Almost Tears

Speedo and tach weren't fitting tight to dash. Found out PO left a hold down bracket off of each gauge, I now know why. Figured I'd replace all gauge bulbs with LED's, while I was under there. After several dropped thumbscrews and removing speedo a couple times to find them, got it done. After several cuts, blood and sore 66 year old body it's done to my satisfaction.I can finally see gauges at nite too. Hope I never have to get into those positions again. Major P.I.T.A.....
