Badged blocker

I'm not sure that Dorothy will ever get to "the required 15 pieces of flair", but she definitely would like to "express herself".... Yeah, I found a good spot to mount her badges. With the Lucas lamps on the front badge bar, I didn't wanna completely block airflow to the rads. I don't recall seeing anyone else do this, but I'm sure I'm not the first... installation on the wind blocker worked like a charm!

Pulled the exhaust off the header a couple weeks ago, just a couple days after getting the car back on the road. Pulled back and wired up (thanks to the guys at Sports Car Parts who were just a few blocks away). Work for the winter: disassemble and reconnect to address sag from the 2 flex pipes currently installed....

I'm going to have to write up a bunch of detail on this, but Dorothy had the full engine rebuild, along with a few other nip'n'tucks. Since there was a lot done - including some laps on the dyno - I want to cover everything right proper. Stay tuned! [heh!]

Note cylinder walls and crust

So I've opened a can of... caviar?... Wasn't until April before I got around to getting Dorothy's head into the machine shop. Then I didn't exactly harass them to get it done and they didn't exactly make it their top priority. I did manage to do a complete teardown and rebuild of the HS6 carbs, and confirmed that "lighter" springs ( "light blue" ) are installed, and "BBW" needles. That would take this timeline up to end of June. The head turned out to be in great shape. Nice! Howeve...
