Very nice Jim. Something I must do on my restoration project. At last I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks.

That looks great! Is there a recommended place to get replacement carpeting for the MGs? I'm in the need of some new fabric myself. Seats too.

I found a resource for replacement seat covers in leather at a really good price. https://www.lseat.com/ $299 a set, which blows away Moss et al.The only drawback is that the colors are not original factory colors. They also sell material by the yard.If you are funds limited, you can refresh the vinyl with vinyl paint as a short term solution. If you are changing the interior color I think this would work well on the door cards, kick panels, etc. but will not hold up too long on seats. To save $, I did the carpets with indoor/outdoor for now, using the old ones as patterns. Sports and Classics has pretty good reviews and pricing for carpeting and other parts.
