Took the Midget out early this year - it was warm and dry. First problem detected after this winter...rear brake cylinder leak. At first I thought it was a axle seal on the passenger side, but...I ordered the brake cylinder and with Paul's guidance it was replaced and brakes were bled. Problem solved. HOWEVER, upon brake bleeding in the front we found that the steering rack and end joints neither sounded good or in good repair so it was decided to order both. Then as I drove back home the engine skipped and hesitated all of the way home. Paul and I had talked about getting a "FlameThrower" pointless and condenserless ignition system. Paul decided that the problem was with the condenser, so I ordered the "FlameThrower". So, after about $500 in parts and several hours of work/fun I should be back on the road by my birthday - - - I hope.
