I would like to have a picture of an original University Motors brass rebuild plate which was affixed to the XPAG/XPEG engines on the LH side of the block at the flywheel housing. The plate, as I remember it, is about two inches by two inches and has the overbore of the cylinders and the undersize of the mains and big ends. I would be very grateful to whoever can photograph one of these and send it to me. I've seen a couple over the years. The first was on an MGTC that was owned by the Markham family who owned Checker Motors in Kalamazoo, MIchigan.

Thanks for looking!

Bill! Thank you SO MUCH. I will use your name when I project this plate as part of my PowerPoint presentation. Maybe some day I'll come to Denver for a tech session. Just as an aside, my g-grandmother died at 13 East Cacha el Poudre in 1896 -- they had gone there as my g-grandfather had tuberculosis and she was the one who ended up dying so very prematurely. I mean to come to Colorado Springs someday to visit the American Numismatic Association's HQ, too.

Thank you again for your kind assistance!

John

Hi John,
Interesting family history. I’ve been here since 1979 and don’t plan on ever leaving. Would be great to see you if you make it to Denver.
Here’s another pic with better lighting. Glad to be able to help!
Bill
