It is possible to connect as here with a T-shaped fitting?
Sincerely, Thierry de l'Ardèche

Superb, it's great, thank you John.
I see you found on this site where there are all the dimensions. Very interesting !
How did you proceed to find?
Sincerely, Thierry de l'Ardèche

Thierry,
I thought as far as I knew the temperature probe has a 5/8"x11 NPT thread but don't take my word on it-better to measure it.
http://www.mg-cars.net/mgtd-mgtf1500-bbs/moving-the-water-temp-sender-unit-on-a-td-2015082415585918140.htm
I would have thought it was 5/8" UNF as John has mentioned.
To make matters worse NTG sell BSP adapters but...
https://www.mgbits.com/contents/en-uk/p7074_Adaptor-Temp-Sender-3_8_-BSP-Male_Male.html
Their exchange gauges have a UNF thread.
Exchange-_.html" target="_blank" >https://www.mgbits.com/contents/en-uk/p7082_Oil_Water-Dual-GaugesleepyExchange-_.html
All very strange!

I have uploaded a photo of my sensor which I want to remove as I am in the process of re-doing my dashboard.
I know these sensors are very delicate and I have never had it out. What is the procedure to remove it without twisting the copper tubing?
I can supply those silicone top hoses if anybody needs them.
Regards
Declan

Hello,
I looked for the return elbow of the cooling circuit ref 434-230 but with the bypass for the return of the heating as on the photo «Return before Original TF9052_147»
This one being impossible to find, I think to take the rubber elbow ref GRH498 for MGB which seems to be suitable.
Here is my assembly plan that I would like to do:
The current aluminum elbow at the top, below the GHR498 positioned against the return to the radiator.
Friends, is it feasible in your opinion?
Sincerely, Thierry de l'Ardèche, South of France
