Hello Gents, I've started a thread over in the Engine Swaps Section on my TC. I'd like to put it out there for anyone interested in alternative powertrains for their TC's. Any questions you may have will be answered and discussed on that thread. The cycle wing mod and other parts of the restoration I'll document in this section when I get up to it.

Cheers,
Lou

With one of my Abingdon Performance Ltd. Roller Lifter Camshaft kits and some cylinder head work, & or with a supercharger, who would want to destroy a T type with a brand X engine?

Destroy? Who said anything about destruction? This is what cracks me up about some of you that get all bent out of shape. It's a Volvo B18 engine, you know, the world record setting production car engine? If you bothered to read the post the first thing I prefaced the thread with was how nothing on the car was being disturbed.

In Len's defense, you never said anything about what type of engine or anything about not disturbing anything on the car. Most people who do engine swaps put modern big engines in them, so I think his concern was understandable. If you're swapping out for a B18 then that's probably the least obtrusive swap you could do. Being a TC, it will likely devalue the car a bit but if you aren't planning to sell it then that wont matter.
