Does anyone know where they can be had? B&G doesn't show them on their site, neither does Moss. PJ

Thanks, Bob, since I need both, I think I'll get new ones and the proper cable from Rhode Island Wire. PJ

Unless this was for a car show, I would not recommend them as they hide crud and the first you will know about it is when the car fails to start.

I understand your logic.
But in my personal experience they weren't a problem. I drove an '59 MGA from 1960 through 1963 and '63 MGB from 1963 to 1968 in all weather conditions in Western PA, Upstate New York and Central Illinois. No problems with cap type cable ends (4 cap ends on each car). Really the only Lucas parts without problems.

I bought mine from Rhode island Wiring and have used them with a "tartopper" battery top
cover which I think looks original for not too much money on my TF.

Tom, thanks for your info. I have a tar topper on my battery as it's an Optima and needed its ugliness covered up. With the shorter Optima, I can remove or replace the battery without removing the hood/bonnet and never worry about acid spills. PJ
