My son and I are buying 1970 Bug as a father son project car. Are there any good forums like MGExperience out there for VW's. Also any recommendation on vendors for parts. Thanks for any info.
Peter

Here this is probably the largest VW forum in the world. https://www.thesamba.com/vw/ There are hundreds of suppliers for the bug.

I've worked on Bugs for over 50 yrs. Stopped using Samba yrs ago because even though there was good info, there were too many "experts" that in reality are teenage knuckle busters that just argue and start trouble. Plus the Samba prices are like Barrett-Jackson. If you want quality that anyone can afford and good info. ..just Google VW clubs or group in your area and get with them, they'll hook you up. I've owned a VW shop for about 25 yrs. Got any questions...contact me.
