Cradle bolt replacement. What grade bolt/nut to use?

2008 Chevrolet HHR
Had to cut (several times) the rear cradle bolt on sons 06 Cobalt SS. It had fused with bearing for lower control arm. Can not locate a new replacement bolt even from dealer. No issue can get from friends, issue is the nut. The OEM is a captured nut, that can not be used again and is too difficult to remove from another car.

Would a grade 8 nut have the proper specs.
