That's my 1957 VW 21 window bus. Paid $50. for it, sold it years later for $150. (thought I made a killing)
Guess it would be worth about $25000 now ?

Every time I think of the cars I owned in the late 60's and early 70's, there are two that I wish I had kept. These include a 62' Corvette which I sold for $1,600 (now worth about $100k) and a 1970 Porsche 911S ($200k+/- today). Who knew?

My '62 transporter, no windows. Never see them anywhere. Gave it away in a moment of weakness.

It wasn’t mine but when I was born my father sold his 54 Corvette for $750 because all of us wouldn’t fit in it . I had a 67 Camaro RS SS I sold for $2500 back in the 90’s ..........damn !

Lets see here. First, is it not a 23 window? It looks like (from what I can see) 2 rear corner windows. A 50's split window 23 window bus in the picture now would now sell for a minimum (starting point) of 40 to 50 Grand at an auction. If it was an earlier 50's BARNDOOR 23 window, Made until 1955) your talking 100 grand to start. A totally restored 23 window barn door sold last year for over 200 grand.

Mr Robinson
Are you a member off the Western NC British Car club? I see you live in Hendersonville and there are members in the club who live there.
