Kind words and advice I especially will take to heart.
Peacethumbs up

In reply to # 3908001 by purpleGT I've been a lot less active, on MGE, the past couple of years, so I haven't had a PM from Roger in a long time. But, I always enjoyed hearing from him and discussing whatever it was that he wanted to offer his opinion, or experiences with.

Many of us, myself included, are entering the phase in our lives where we will find ourselves attending a lot of funeral home visitations and offering condolences to family members of deceased friends. It sucks, but it's part of life. sad smiley

Enjoy life as much as you can, while you can and treat others the way you'd want to be treated. It's really the best we can do, isn't it?

All,
as new as I am to the forum I'm pretty sure I have never interacted with Roger. However, I just thought how his assistance on this forum in the past will continue because he has taught or informed others and I'm sure they'll be passing knowledge/expertise on to the rest of us through them. Thank you Roger for sharing. I'm constantly learning things here and sharing them with others. Thanks again all.

Years ago, Roger shared a picture with me .
It was from space looking at Earth from one of the space missions that he worked on.
I have looked through all of my old emails to see if i still had it but it looks like it is gone.
Did anyone else receive it?
John

It’s a tribute to a man when he is remembered after his time with others is over. I am sure he will be remembered by many.

Roger was the very first person to contact me when I joined the group back in 2012 after the purchase of my first MGB. He sent me a private message, and for many years would reach out with private messages when I posted a question to the forum. I loved how much he wanted to share his knowledge with me. I wish him well.

Kelvin,

PLEASE tell Roger we all love & miss him if you have the chance!!! And his remaining family too... Be sure they realize how much he meant to so many people around the world. I still have his contact info in my MacBook... I was one of the lucky ones from this forum who had the privilege to spend some time with him on the telephone. He was a very kind, considerate man who'd surely give his left (and right!!) arm to help anyone in need. I miss him terribly....

God bless you Roger!!! May you find paradise elsewhere in the Universe surrounding our little blue planet. I will never forget someone so kind... Godspeed my friend. Thank you for sharing a few moments of your life with me!

In reply to # 3907450 by Be Coming Roger is now in a care facility. It's sad to see such intelligence and knowledge slip away.

Take care of yourselves and your families. Time here is fleeting.

His project lives on.

Kelvin.

I was fortunate to know Roger and was able to have lunch with him on one of my MG cross country adventures. He is a kind man and his stories epic.

Don't postpone joy

Thanks for all the kind words.

I'm looking forward to the process of getting his car back on the road.

More importantly, I get to see this face every morning, as we adopted one of his show dogs.

You mean Koala Dog.
