With permission from a friend.

It is fun to note the many differences in these two hand made bodies.

These were the two cars raced in Europe in the mid 60s. Photos By a friend for "stars and stripes"

If I’m correct those Shelby factory cars won America’s first manufacturers championship FIA. Ken Miles, Gurney, Bonderaunt, Dave McDonald and other well known driving, kicked Ferrari good.

That pic of Daytona Beach during spring break sure brings back memories (Boot Hill and the rock n roll place called The New Yorker) ( I attended Embry Riddle Univ back then). I just wish I had Mr. Peabody's and Shermans contact info to see if I could talk them out of using their Way-Back machine for a day or two to go back there during this time.

What can anyone say about Janis Joplin? A remarkable voice that could never be replaced. Her and Jimi were lost way too early...

Me & Bobbi Mcgee is just magnificent!
