Good for you Rob. Wish I had your 'room' and more importantly...your.."gumption".

Q's.

1. Does the cost of this really override the cost of a professional paint booth?
2. Do you really think that deflating this puppy & wrapping it up for a future project will ever happen? (...to offset the cost of it?)
3. Per above Q....do you think there will be damage to the storage of this unit, adding to the cost of the over-all "idea".?

Gotta axe. (I jus don't buy it. Truthfully. )

Reverse blower it gets flat to fold and store
Pro booth costs 10's of thousands and wont fold up
Traveling off the tiny island I live on to find and rent a professional spray booth for a few hundred a day for several days everytime I paint a car would cost far more
In money,time,energy.
I've got lots of acreage, a shed with 10 stalls and loft storage
It would be nice on a warm sunny day to be painting or working on projects
Check what a pro shop charges for painting a car up to my approval
if it was used 1 or 2 times it would be worth it.

Not as good as a pro filtered downdraft, but vastly better than some plastic over pipe. You don't have a ceiling to hang stuff from and need bright daylight. So said a friend who is a painter. I too might go fir one if I paint another car.

I wonder if the inevitable overspray will cause the thing to stick together when it folds up.

Depends how soon you fold it up, David!

It’s a proven system. I thought about one, but decided to use the money for heaters and air movement fans.

Love it! I didn't watch the tail end of the vid, so did he say where to inquire about getting one to custom order? ( I have an old F150 extended cab, long bed, to paint so I need ROOM. ) Plus 2 MGB's and and Altima. I'm also going to do some research on the turbine painting gizmo he used. Looks simple.

Thanks for the post.

It's on Amazon about a grand or so... includes the 2 blowers
3 prices based on size and height

He blew a fuse and that happened.
I'm going to build a PVC frame inside and leave it out as an extra shop in warmer weather.
