You do realize that collapsed brake hoses WILL allow fluid to flow into the caliper, but not return to the master cylinder, correct? That's the most common issue and I see its being ignored. If your brake hoses are more than 10 years old, I'd replace those before going too far. The master cylinder would never pose a problem on only one caliper.

Before I do anything else I will replace the ds hose.
Pedal cover removed, so no brake switch.
