Hi,

I'm after a side screen closer (Part number AFH2666) for a very early MGA 1500. I'd really like 2 of these. I have one already but it is in poor condition. Alas, an original OEM pair of these was sold in Australia last month but I was "asleep at the wheel" and didn't see the ad until too late.
Any pointers to a possible source (at a reasonable price) would be appreciated. SC parts (Limora) in the UK/Europe appear to be still selling them and, as a last resort I might try them - however they are very expensive.

Thanks
Richard

If you are talking about the little clip at the top corner, they are available from Todd Clark.

Hammer: Originally employed as a weapon of war, the hammer nowadays is used as a kind of divining rod to locate expensive car parts not far from the object we are trying to hit.

Thanks Gary. However, I'm after the spring loaded chrome part from the early 'flap-type' side screens'
