I purchased the whole Moss leather new upholstering kit. Everything has run mostly smoothly reading instructions from MGA guru and MGA restoration. However I have one question when you install the seat back covers and staple them at the bottom the cover remains mostly flat and does not follow the contour of the front of the seat. I have not read any comments regarding gluing the covers to the rubberized horse hair and am reluctant to do so. Any comments?
Thanks
Johan

No glue everything gets pulled tight and stapled to the wood tack strip on the bottom of frame

Pull down hard on the front of the backrest cover before stapling at the bottom to pull the center of it back to the curved profile. If you include the lumbar support pad low on the backrest, it will make it look flatter than you might expect (but it is comfortable).
