I have put 45,000 miles on my 1600 since March of 2013 when I installed a five speed. That works out to 7500 miles per year, 3500 of which is a round trip from Michigan to Key West every April.

I take it that Barney is "over qualified" (rather than disqualified) for this award!winking smiley

I stopped by Dale Spooner's shop today and pulled up next to a 'well used' looking blue GT with trailer attached in the parking lot. On seeing it, I thought, that the poor thing deserved some TLC.
When I walked into the shop and learned that the GT has over 700,000 miles, welI, I guess it has earned a few paint blemishes, LOL!

Nice to meet you Glenn!

Did you go to the other side of the building to see Tivvy Shelton's shop?

Not today, but I've gone over there before. He's got some interesting cars in there.

I do about 2500 miles a year and get about 26 mpg on average. That is with a 5 to 6 month driving season and at least one 1000 mile round trip.
