Whenever I have pulled my radiator in the past it has been a pain to put it back in. The surrounding shrouds take up positions that are not lined up with the captive nuts on the radiator. Getting them in proper position to insert the bolt has been challenging. Now it is a lot less difficult. I filed the end of a length of 1/4 - 28 threaded rod into a tapered point. It can now be used to line up the shroud holes with the radiator and threaded into the radiator nut. The double nut assembly allows me to pull the shrouds against the radiator and secure them temporarily. I do this on two opposite corners and am then able to easily insert the mounting bolts into the other holes.
