Out for a drive on a very nice evening yesterday and had the bright idea of recording it. smiling smiley

This is about 25% throttle and about 3000-3500 shift points....nothing crazy.

Videos are great if one is looking for entertainment, and useful sometimes for information, but all of these are available on TV or UTube. I have gained a lot of useful information from the MG Engine Swaps forum as it was, so I hope this video thread isn’t replacing that on a permanent basis.

Love it. How did you manage to cram an SR20 into a Midget? I could barely get my CA18 into my MGA.

It took some cutting . Heater box is gone as well as the battery tray . Trans tunnel was Re worked as well. Front cross member was modified to . Only problem I have is the oil pan is very close to the ground.

I really like it. I've thought about modding a Midget. Nothing seems to fit well, though some people have used rotary engines. I saw a real bad ass kit with a Rover K engine, but they don't have those in the US much.

Cool that you're in Corpus. If you ever bring that car up to San Antonio, I'd love to see it.
