Rick:

I think the first thing I will do is bolt on some of the trim and lights that are on the shelf. Just to make me feel good while I stand back and have a beer. Maybe an "After" of this shot:

Then I will get the wires routed, reinstall the brake-stuff in the engine bay and get the car running again but this time with the FITECH EFI .

If all goes well, I should be able to drive it out of the shop when the snow melts next spring.

Pete

I like your plan. Don't skimp on the beer part, you deserve it.

Thing with the Grill is it will have to come off as I work in the nose of the car. Taillights and brightwork/trim can go on and stay on and clear the room off the shelf.

That thing is like a mirror now, look at those reflections. Were you able to get it home without getting it covered salt spray?

Roads were pretty much dry so not too bad with the salt coating. Fell like I need to go out and stick some random piece of chrome in just cause.

But, it sucks to live in Ontario.
Here in the Sunny Okanagan Valley of B.C. we cut our lawns for the lat time two days ago!
And here is a picture of my yard at sunset yesterday!

that is a football field, not a yard! LOL

here in SW ohio we're in the middle of leaf season, and yes, still mowing as well.

Good thing about winter is that it is the wrenching season. I dont worry about doing yard maintenance or car maintenance, just hole up in the shop and build stuff.

This has got to be very gratifying work. Looks like you have been busy. Engine and trans in, everything looks plumbed and front and rear suspension done. Are you feeling that some parts just look too old/worn now that you have that like-new body shell to bolt them to?
